Cost
The projected cost for the 2012 JG Program is $476. The cost is based on direct program costs and may change yearly. The LA County Junior Lifeguard Program is not for profit. The Tax-ID Number is: 95-6000927
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available and is based on family income/need. For information, please call (310) 939-7214.
Transportation
Transportation is available from many non-beach locations (outside a 15 mile radius). Bus transportation is available from East and South Los Angeles, and the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys. For information please call (310) 939-7214.

Refund Policy
If your child is unable to participate, a refund may be available. Refunds are only granted with a written request to the JG Office or by e-mail to captcan@fire.lacounty.gov. For the 2012 season, refund requests must be received by 5:00pm Tuesday, July 10th.
Uniforms
Included in your registration fee is the cost of the required uniform. It can be picked up at any of the swim test sites or uniform pick-ups. Boys receive a white T-shirt with JG emblem and a pair of blue swim trunks. Girls receive a white T-shirt with JG emblem and a blue competition-style swimsuit. Extra swim trunks are available for purchase at a cost of $15. Additional T-shirts will be available at a cost of $10. Unfortunately no additional girls' swimsuits will be available for purchase.
